The best leaders don't pretend to have all the answers ✨

When we asked and what leadership looks like beyond the traditional path, their answer were simple: be human.

It's about trusting your team, showing vulnerability and knowing that leadership isn't about perfection - it's about showing up, especially on the difficult days.

While this year's Female Bartending Scholarship has come to an end, we're still sharing the insights that resonated most with our scholars.

And this one feels particularly important.

In hospitality, great leadership isn't about being the loudest person in the room. It's about showing up, supporting others, and helping your team thrive 🫶

A few days together, away from the day-to-day, reminded us exactly why time as a team matters so much. 💛

From sharing ideas and brainstorming what’s next, to understanding how every part of the business connects - what’s working, what needs more love, what’s flying, and how each department plays a part in our success.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Double Dutch without a little fun along the way.

Games, party tricks, G&Ts, archery, plenty of laughter, and a team fully embracing what Double Dutch is all about: great drinks, big ideas, brilliant people and doing it all together. 🍸✨
