Where the journey truly began.
Before the Corporal series, before the wider Precious Liquors portfolio expanded across Europe, there were these extraordinary bottlings created for the Philippines under the mesmerizing Engkanto Art Series.
Because with us, Every Bottle Tells a Story.
And these stories were born from the mythology, mystery and magic of the Philippine islands, inspired by the legendary Engkanto spirits of Filipino folklore. Engkanto are mythical enchanted beings connected with forests, mountains, rivers and ancient nature spirits, deeply rooted in Philippine mythology and oral traditions.
These first Three Wise Men Selection bottlings were designed to capture exactly that atmosphere:
mystery, tropical beauty, fantasy, old legends, hidden worlds and the emotional connection between whisky and storytelling.
The labels themselves were inspired by the vibrant spirit of the Philippines, from jungle landscapes and volcanic islands to mythical creatures, diwatas, enchanted forests and the ancient stories whispered across more than 7000 islands.

Alongside it, a bold Islay Caol Ila, packed with maritime character, coastal salinity, medicinal smoke, bonfire peat, citrus oils, oyster shell minerality, pepper, ash and smoky elegance from classic hogshead maturation.

The Philippines was the perfect home for these first releases. A country where mythology, storytelling and spirituality remain deeply connected with everyday life. The Engkanto legends still survive in villages, forests and local traditions today. Some describe them as nature spirits, enchanted guardians, diwatas, forest beings or beautiful supernatural entities connected with ancient trees, rivers and mountains.
That atmosphere inspired the entire visual identity of these bottlings.
From lush jungle colors to enchanted floral motifs, every detail was intended to feel like stepping into another realm, somewhere between tropical fantasy and old Scotch whisky tradition.
Looking back now, these bottlings marked the true birth of what later evolved into the wider Three Wise Men Selection and Precious Liquors vision.
