We work with some great people to help make our beers. Beers that are flavoursome, accessible and easy drinking whilst helping make a little bit of a difference along the way. We hope to be a stepping stone and an introduction to the category for many but to also be experimental - create beers that are individual, unusual and innovational but always with the finest of ingredients and quality at th

e heart of everything that we do. We are a Work For Good partner and proceeds from select beers go to support our charity partner Only A Pavement Away. You only get one. Do what you want to do. Our second ever grocery listing comes just 24 hours after our first! WOW! 😮

From today (April 13th) you can now get your hands on BiG JUiCY – A 6% version of our best selling Juicy Pale (Session IPA) in 152 ASDA stores nationwide 💥

An evolution of Juicy Pale this is an exclusive for ASDA - BIGGER hop profile, BIGGER abv, but best of all, BIGGER donation to our charity partners Only A Pavement Away 💥

OAPA helps those less fortunate facing homelessness, including vulnerable veterans, ex offenders and rough sleepers, find employment within the hospitality sector.

We will be donating 10p per can via the Work For Good Scheme (we donate 5p a can from our Pave The Way Pale Ale). The money raised will help cover the cost of a relationship manager for the charity who are the key link between the employers and those on the scheme.

Big Juicy also carries the ONLY A PAVEMENT AWAY logo - the first in major grocery as part of our support to help the charity with one of their key objectives for this year - to raise awareness amongst the general public.

We hope to be able to raise over £3000 for Only A Pavement Away and get the beer, and their presence, into the hands of tens of thousands of customers nationwide!

You can now find Digital Dreams our 4.8% NEIPA on the shelves in 420 stores nationwide!

Digital Dreams is our best selling seasonal on keg for the last 2 years and a light, hazy, easy drinking NEIPA full of flavour and will support our partnership with One Tribe 🌍

Every can sold will help preserve 3 trees through their support of rainforest projects in both the UK & abroad.

Venue of the week this week is our good friends part of the . Right in the heart of the city by Liverpool st station this is one of our favourite spots for beer, pizza and footy (or any other sport! )
With a regular rotation of independent craft you’ll find our 5.4% hefeweizen - Bigger Dinger (our homage to Erdinger ) on tap. Brewed with lager yeast for a light, easy drinking profile it has a mellow but flavourful aroma of banana and clove with a good body and great drinkability. Prost! 🍻

BIG HUG Venue the week! 🙌

The Miller is one of our newest customers and we love these guys!

Purveyors of fine cider, incredible burgers and more from and now 3 of our beers on permanent with Hibernation, Juicy & Planet Pilsner plus some cask along with other local beers, these guys are now championing indie beer to the max 👊🏼

With a great outdoor space, regular improv comedy every week upstairs with comedy, London’s largest independent cider festival, Ciderdog, every July and just a 5min walk from London Bridge station, if your in the area you need to stop off here 🍻

Made using the finest English Maris Otter Pale ale malt, golden in colour and a rich malty base to showcase the finest American hops.
Smooth notes of honey and caramel from the malt combine with Simcoe to give a light and balanced bitterness whilst Eldorado and Amarillo give a light aroma and flavour of watermelon, peach and stone fruit.

As well as supporting Only A Pavement Away, our partnership with One Tribe allows our other beers to support rainforest projects in the UK and abroad through the protection of trees & the reduction of carbon.

Right at the forefront of the King’s Cross regeneration project, The Star of Kings has built itself into one of the area’s true independent gems.

Proper boozer upstairs, wicked burgers flying out the kitchen, and a private hire karaoke basement that’s become a local legend.

We’ll usually have one or two of our beers on tap plus some cask alongside some other great local brewers and Wes the GM is a bit of a legend. We love these guys ❤️

If you’re around King’s Cross and looking for a pint, a burger, or a sing a long, you know where to go.

Hello friends,

We wanted to take a little moment to reintroduce ourselves now that we have a fresh new look!

We’re Big Hug Brewing and we’re on a mission to put good beer into the hands of good people whilst making a meaningful difference along the way.

It was really important to us from day one to be able to give a little something back and we believe if everyone did the same, the world would be a better place. So we make beer with purpose.... beer that we know you'll love with an impact that others will feel, supporting people & planet.

We want to build a community that supports not only those facing homelessness but also our planet - we’d love you to join us on our journey.

Every beer we sell has a positive impact - meaning we make direct contributions from our sales to our charity partners via the Work for Good scheme or supporting rainforest projects in both the UK & abroad through our partnership with One Tribe where every keg sold helps preserve 30 trees or 3 trees for every 440ml can. We try to minimise our environmental impact wherever we can through the materials we use and the partners we work with.

Our Pave The Way Pale Ale is brewed to support where £5 per keg/cask and 5p per can goes toward supporting those facing homelessness find jobs within hospitality whilst every keg we sell.

Same beer. 🍻 New Look 💥. More Purpose 🌎

Its been a little while coming but we are stoked to formally reveal our new brand identity and logo - and we love it ❤️

In January we transitioned to being a 💯 positive impact business 💥

That means every beer that we sell now makes a difference to people 🙏🏻 or planet 🌍

But we needed something that allowed us to bring our social cause purpose front and centre. To tell a story on pack and through imagery whilst holding on to our unique design identity, introducing a brand hierarchy and bringing a new bold identity together which is full of riotous colour, positivity and big personality! What do you reckon?! 🤔

We've always given a little something back but this is now about doing this in everything that we do and establishing ourselves as a purpose driven brand. We've grown up but with a vibrant youthful enthusiasm! 🌈

We’ve got a bold brand world full of optimism, colour, character, calls to action and purpose driven messaging 👊🏼

Brewing For Better is our tag line and we can't wait to see the positive impact ✔️ our new look will have to allow us to support our charity partners in Only A Pavement Away YMCA DownsLink Group, new ones to be announced along with our partnership with 1TRIBE and their rainforest projects in both the UK (who knew 0.5% of our land mass was temperate rainforest?) and abroad🌱🌳
