That was brutal π€£π€£
π THE WOTSITS HAVE SPOKEN! π
Firstly, a huge well done to every eater who took part in this British Eating League online event.
On paper, 36 packets of Wotsits doesnβt sound too badβ¦
Until you actually try it.
At 16.5g per bag, competitors had to consume almost 600g of Wotsits. The real challenge wasnβt the weight β it was the texture.
Wotsits are incredibly dry and absorb moisture almost instantly. Competitors had to battle:
π§ Mouth fatigue
π§ Dry mouth and throat
π§ Wotsits sticking to teeth, gums and tongue
π§ Constant chewing
π§ The same flavour and texture for long periods
Many competitive eaters will tell you that challenges like this can be harder than burgers, pizzas or huge meals because your mouth gives up long before your stomach does.
The fact that several competitors managed to finish is a tremendous effort, and to get under 10 minutes is seriously impressive.
