We haven’t posted in a while as we are currently closed. However, we just wanted to express our shock about the passing of Chef Dom Taylor. It was a pleasure to collaborate with Chef Dom during his residency at the Langham in London. We were so proud of what he achieved at the Langham, and more recently at the Good Front Room restaurant. He was so passionate and proud of his Caribbean heritage and was clearly demonstrated in his creative and exquisite Caribbean-inspired dishes. Condolences to his family and friends and may he rest in eternal peace. Thank you Chef Dom for the memories and we will never forget how you blazed the trail for Caribbean excellence. REIP🙏🏽💔

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

We’re saddened to share that Windrush Bay will be closing on 30th November 2025. No further orders will be delivered after this date.

We are truly grateful for everyone who supported us and believed in our mission to celebrate Caribbean culture, bringing the quintessentially Caribbean shopping experience to homes across the UK.

As a Black-owned, female-led business, this journey has been one of courage, creativity, and community. Despite our best efforts, we’ve struggled to secure the investment needed to grow and reach new audiences.

The loss of our director Bradley, whose vision and passion helped shape Windrush Bay, has also been deeply felt. His contribution and spirit will always remain part of our story.

Although this is goodbye for now, our hope remains that one day a Black-owned Caribbean brand will become a household name across the UK—continuing to share the warmth, flavour, and pride of our Caribbean heritage.

Thank you for standing with us, shopping with us, and believing in our vision.

It has been a true honour to serve you. ❤️🙏🏾
