The Holy Bagel (THB) is a unique culinary journey inspired by my upbringing in Nazareth, Israel and continuing through to Europe where I settled 15 years ago. This is t

he familiar and well-loved bagel with a middle-eastern twist that will appeal to all tastes. As part of the experience, we bring to the UK the popular ‘bagel-toast’ idea from bustling Israeli markets, where we offer freshly baked large Israeli-style toasted bagels (approximately 7 inches) filled with a variety of homemade and healthy fillings and spices. The customer will create their own bagel-toast by choosing a set base (e.g. homemade garlic and herbs cream cheese, homemade pizza sauce or simply butter). The customer then chooses the fillings from the freshly prepared salad bar, topped with options of cheese or middle-eastern spices. Finally, the bagel is then pressed in one of our large toasters and served with our signature homemade dipping sauce, creating a satisfying hot bagel for any time of the day. As we know how varied customer’s dietary requirements are, we can provide three different types of bagel; whole meal, classic (topped with sesame) and gluten free. For those who are lactose intolerant, we can also offer dairy-free cheese options. For healthy side dish options, we also offer Mediterranean-style salads, and other homemade healthy snacks. We are a healthy fast-food enterprise and aim for a maximum preparation time, from order to serving, of approximately 7 minutes. Our bagels go nicely with our freshly ground coffee or a range of healthy smoothies and freshly squeezed juices.
