I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the What’s New In Bordeaux virtual tasting hosted by Richard Bampfield and Sabine Silvestrini this week. They dug into how the Bordeaux region is evolving to face into the issues of climate change and the changing taste profiles of the global consumer. We tasted through 6 wines which were all fantastic with the two standouts for me being the Dourthe No 1 rose and the Volcelest Canon-Fronsac. It was a very informative and well put together tasting.
