Into the vineyard we go! 🍇

What started 10 years ago as a dream to restore our family land in Kefalonia and bring it back to its former glory is now very much in full swing.

The olive trees are coming to fruition, the land is bursting with fruit and vegetables, and our vineyard is blossoming.

We’ve just bottled the first 100 bottles of w**e from last year’s harvest, and now we’re getting ready to harvest the 2026 vintage.

Walking through the vineyard with my daughter and looking at how far the land has come feels pretty remarkable. There’s still so much we want to do, but moments like this make it all worthwhile.

With love from Kefalonia,
Nicholas & the family

Our olive oil will always be at the heart of what we do, but this is about so much more. It’s about our island, our people and sharing the incredible flavours of Kefalonia with everyone who walks through the door.

Join us for daily tastings, discover something new, and come and say hello. We’d love to welcome you.

OUR DOORS ARE OPEN.

Today is a day I’ll never forget.

After years of dreaming, planning, planting, harvesting and building, we’ve officially opened the doors to the Ionian Gold Flagship Store & Headquarters here in Lixouri, Kefalonia.

This isn’t just a shop. It’s the home of Ionian Gold.

It’s a place to discover the incredible flavours of our island and the people behind them. Extra virgin olive oil will always be at the heart of what we do, but around it we’ve brought together everything we love about Kefalonia. Fruit and vegetables from our land, beautiful local w**es, honey, herbs, tsipouro and a carefully curated collection of produce from neighbouring farms and artisans.

Every product on our shelves has a story, and every producer has become part of ours.

Looking around the shop today, it’s hard to believe this all started with a simple idea: to share the place my family has called home for generations.

To everyone who has supported us along the way, thank you. Whether you’ve bought a bottle, visited one of our tastings, shared our story or simply believed in what we’re building, you’ve helped make this possible.

This has always been, and always will be, a truly family affair.

If you’re visiting Kefalonia this summer, we’d love to welcome you through our doors.

From our family grove to your table.

With love,

Nicholas & the family 💚

COMING VERY SOON…

This is a moment I’ve dreamed about for a very long time.

When I first started Ionian Gold, I had a simple ambition, to share the incredible produce, people and traditions of the island my family has called home for generations.

This August, that dream becomes a reality as we open the doors to our very first Ionian Gold Flagship Store in Lixouri, Kefalonia.

It won’t just be an olive oil shop. It will be a place to discover the very best of our island.

You’ll be able to taste our extra virgin olive oils, explore w**es from Sklavos and other fantastic local producers, pick up fruit and vegetables from our farm, alongside honey, herbs, tsipouro and a carefully chosen collection of local produce that we’re proud to put on our shelves.

More than anything, I hope it’s somewhere people can come together. Somewhere to slow down, taste something new, meet local producers and experience the flavours of Kefalonia.

Looking back, it’s incredible to think that what started with a few bottles of olive oil has grown into this. There is still so much we want to do, but opening our first permanent home feels like a very special milestone.

To everyone who has supported Ionian Gold over the past few years, thank you. Whether you’ve bought a bottle, visited us at a pop-up, shared our story or simply believed in what we’re building, you’ve helped make this possible.

I can’t wait to welcome you through the doors.

See you very soon.

From our family grove to your table.

Love,

Nicholas & The Family
