Getting some orders ready to go out. Every pouch is filled with freshly stone-milled organic barley, bringing a little forgotten Sunnah into our everyday lives.

Our talbina is made using organic British-grown barley, freshly stone-milled in small batches to make it easy for families to prepare at home.

And when you become a Sunnah Spoon stockist, we want to make getting started simple.

This is such a special little milestone for us. What started as a small idea to bring Talbina back into our homes is now making its way onto a shop shelf Alhamdulillah. 🤎

From 1st October, you’ll be able to pop into Madyna and pick up your Sunnah Spoon Talbina locally. 🌾

100% organic British-grown barley, freshly stone-milled in small batches, with nothing added or taken away.

And honestly, a huge Jazakallah to everyone who has supported Sunnah Spoon so far, every order, share, kind message and du’a has meant more than you know.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

«إِنَّ التَّلْبِينَةَ تُجِمُّ فُؤَادَ الْمَرِيضِ، وَتَذْهَبُ بِبَعْضِ الْحُزْنِ»

“Indeed, Talbina gives rest to the heart of the sick person and relieves some of his sorrow and grief.”

— Sahih al-Bukhari 5689

A simple food. A beautiful Sunnah. A reminder that sometimes comfort can be found in the simplest things. 🤍

Our first ever Sunnah Spoon stall 🌾

Something that started with a little bag of grain, a mill in the kitchen and a desire to bring talbina back into our homes… made its way onto a table for the first time.

We made saffron & rose talbina fresh on the day, packed our stone-milled barley flour, arranged everything as best we could and people actually came over and bought it
Couldn’t believe my ears when some said they came just for Sunnah Spoon 🥹🥹

More than anything, it was a reminder of why Sunnah Spoon began in the first place: to reconnect with a forgotten sunnah food, and make talbina something we can easily bring back into our everyday lives.

Alhamdulillah for every person who stopped by, every kind word, every pouch that found a new home and for this little milestone. 🌾
