What a week it has been!
After catching up on some much-needed sleep, we want to take a moment to say a sincere thank you to everyone who helped us through one of the busiest and most demanding weeks we’ve experienced.
🔴 Our staff and friends – The long hours, late nights, early starts and sheer commitment shown by everyone was incredible. No complaints, no fuss – just a determination to get the job done.
🔴 Our customers – Thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation as we worked our way through an exceptionally busy period.
🔴 Our dealers & suppliers – Your support, loan of machinery and willingness to answer the phone whenever we needed help was invaluable.
🔴 Our friends and neighbours – Thank you for sending tractors, trailers, lorries and drivers whenever they were needed. Your support made a huge difference.
🔴 The girls – Thank you for keeping everyone fed each evening. It was appreciated more than you know.
There are simply too many people to mention individually, but every offer of help, every machine sent and every extra pair of hands did not go unnoticed. We are genuinely grateful.
After a difficult spring and a delayed start to silage, the quality and quantity of grass harvested over the past seven days has been outstanding. Behind every acre cut, lifted and clamped has been an enormous amount of hard work, all contributing to the production of food for our nation.
If anyone ever doubted the strength, resilience and spirit of Northern Ireland’s farming industry, they only needed to look across the countryside this past week. The dedication shown by farmers, contractors, families and support networks has been remarkable.
It’s been a challenging week for everyone involved, but together we got through it.
