🍂 It’s that time of year… the leaves are falling, the nights are drawing in, and it’s nearly time to light the fire.🍂

With October in full swing, we’ve got some lovely seasonal activities coming up, including Halloween-themed pottery and Indian block printing.

Then, on Halloween night, make us your little pit stop while you’re out trick-or-treating!

Come in from the cold, warm up with a glass of mulled c***r, soak up the cosy atmosphere and play a few games. 🎃

You never know who - or what - could be lurking around the pub......👻

🎃 HALLOWEEN PARTY….....? 👻

We’ve had quite a few people asking whether we’re going to be hosting a Halloween party this year! 🎃

We didn’t hold one last year, after numbers were quite low the year before, so we’ve been a little unsure whether it’s something people would actually want us to do again.

BUT… if we were to host one this year, would you be interested?

We’re thinking on Halloween itself, Saturday 31st October, with fancy dress, games, challenges, Halloween inspired drinks, prizes and spooky fun! 🕷️🍹🎃

Obviously, putting on an event takes a bit of time, effort and money, so we’d need to know there’s enough interest to make it worthwhile.

So let us know!

🧶 CRAFT NIGHT AT THE EIGHT BELLS🧶

We’ve had lots of lovely responses to our craft night idea, so we’re making it happen!
We’re selected a few dates, hopefully we can catch different people on different days.

📅 Thursday 1st October
📅 Tuesday 3rd November
📅 Wednesday 2nd December

We’re aiming for 6pm until 9pm, but there are no set times. Whether you fancy staying for 10 minutes or 2 hours, just pop along whenever suits you!
Bring yourself and your current project, grab a drink and enjoy some relaxed crafting and chatting.

We’ll also have our craft swap table, so bring along any craft supplies you no longer need and see what you can find!

🧶 CALLING ALL CRAFTERS 🧶

We’re thinking of starting a relaxed ‘Bring Your Own’ Craft Night at the pub!

Bring along whatever you’re working on: knitting, crochet, sewing, painting, macramé or anything you can craft from a table. Just crafting, chatting and a drink in good company.
We’re also thinking of having a craft swap table. Bring along any yarn, fabric, patterns or supplies you no longer need and swap them for something new!

Our Wall of Paws is growing — and we’d love for your four-legged friends to be part of it!
