Then you see the homemade cakes, spend far too long choosing, and somehow leave with a slice as well. We understand. It happens to us, and we made them. 😂

🎄 A little Christmas idea from The Coffee Shop ❤️

We’re thinking about opening our doors on Christmas Day for older people who would otherwise be spending it alone—offering a free Christmas dinner, a hot drink and somewhere warm to enjoy some company. ☕🍽️

Before we make plans, we’d love to know whether this would be welcomed locally.

Would you, or someone you know, enjoy joining us? Getting here might be a worry, so please let us know privately whether you could get to the café or would need help with transport. We can’t promise transport at this stage, but we’d like to understand what’s needed.

This is just an expression of interest for now, with details to follow once we know what we can arrange.
