Hello, my lovely people! 💖

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve shared my cakey pretties. Life has been a bit unkind lately, and within 8 weeks I sadly lost my precious Auntie and my incredible Nanny. To say I was heartbroken is an understatement — they were my world. 💔

I’ve still been creating behind the scenes, and I’ll share some new pictures with you all soon. For now, enjoy this little photo montage of some of my favourite cakey pretties. 🧁✨

This weekend we celebrated something truly incredible – my Nanny and Grandad’s 70th wedding anniversary 💛
Seventy years of love, laughter, resilience, family, and a lifetime of memories. What an absolute privilege it is to grow up surrounded by a love story like theirs. 🥹✨

We had the whole family together to celebrate – 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and of course the partners - generations all in one room because of the life they built. It was so special.

I had the honour of making their cake 🎂 A classic vanilla sponge filled with apricot jam – always the jam of choice when Nanny used to make her famous “magic sponge” for us when we were little. Some flavours just carry a lifetime of memories, don’t they?

Finished with buttercream tulips and, of course, a little bit of sparkle… because 70 years definitely deserves a bit of sparkle ✨

Here’s to a love that’s stood the test of time and to the beautiful family that grew from it. We love you both so much 🤍

It’s National Chocolate Cake Day today… and I simply couldn’t dessert letting it pass! 😏🍰
So to celebrate, I whisked up some scrummy chocolate cupcakes and took them along to my son’s home ed scooter group — one box to share with the lovely mums, and another for the amazing team who work there too. Because spreading cake is always a sweet idea 💝
Honestly, any excuse for chocolate is a good one — and today felt like the perfect reason to share a little joy (and a lot of frosting!).
