It's that time of year again, the start of the swarming season for honey bees. This is a natural process for them and happens when they have outgrown their current nest and are out looking for a new bigger one.
The attached photos are some of the swarms I have collected from peoples gardens. As you can see, the swarm forms a ball around the queen and will land pretty much anywhere, although they do like trees and bushes.
If a swarm of honey bees lands in your garden, please give me a phone or drop me a whatsapp message through the link/number on the page, and I will happily come and remove it for you.
Similarly, if you see one when out and about, send me a message with what3words location, and I will attend.
Note, this free service is for honey bees only, not wasps or bumble bees. I am unable to remove swarms from wall cavities, roofs etc, so this free service is for external swarms.
