I have a private catering event at the church on Wednesday 27th May, so will be offering limited collection slots between 6pm and 7:30pm to any locals wanting to grab pizza for tea.

An important note for our customers in Dunbar!

This weekend will be our last at The Bear & Bull. It has been such a pleasure serving you all, and in the past 5 months we’ve gained many regulars, so I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has come through the door on a Friday or Saturday evening.

Starting a mobile food business is HARD. Having the opportunity to be at The Bear & Bull every weekend has created an anchor for the business, and allowed me to test out how it would be to operate in a brick and mortar setting. I’ve learned so much and I’m super proud of the standards we’ve maintained and the feedback we’ve received from our customers. But (and there always is a but!), having to commit to every weekend, whilst growing other areas of the business has put me in situations where I’ve felt the quality of the product maybe hasn’t been what I want it to be.

So, I’ve decided to scale back a little. This means I can be there every single event or service, and to be honest that’s where I want to be. I have a mega summer ahead, with lots of exciting events, popups, private catering and some new products and ideas in the pipeline too. Scaling back a little, means I can give all of this my complete focus. There’s some exciting info on the horizon too that I can’t share now, but keep your eyes peeled.

I’d also like to say a huge thank you to Cara and the team at The Bear & Bull. They are all a lovely bunch, and have made me and my wee team feel so welcome. They will continue offering pizza on Fridays and Saturdays, but no longer from Jamie’s Backyard Slice.

The rain has made it a bit quieter this evening Belhaven Bay Caravan and Camping Park so pizzas will be £6 only from 6:30pm til about 7 or sell out.
