We eat where we supply.

One of the best things about being a local coffee roaster is getting to build proper relationships with the people and businesses we work with — and seeing all the different ways our coffee becomes part of what they do.

On Saturday night, we headed to Freemasons at Wiswell for dinner — a restaurant we're proud to supply our coffee to.

And there it was, being used in the kitchen as part of their Salted Caramel Custard:
sable biscuit, vanilla milk, coffee & banana

We love seeing our coffee used beyond the cup, and this was a particularly delicious example.

For us, this is what a local partnership should look like.

We supply local businesses.
We eat at local businesses.
We get to know the people behind them.
And, over time, we get to see all the different ways our coffee can become part of what they're creating.

That's what makes being based here in the Ribble Valley so special.

Thank you to the whole team at The Freemasons At Wiswell for the partnership — and for putting our coffee to work in such a delicious way.

What a morning.

Yesterday we officially opened the doors to the new Field & Fire roastery, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better start.

More people turned up than we ever expected, and seeing the roastery full of familiar faces, new faces and plenty of good brews was something pretty special.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, supported us and helped make the morning such a success. It means a lot to us.

The roastery is now open, and we’d love to see you there.

A proper thank you to the people who have helped us get here.

To celebrate the opening of our new roastery, we invited our wholesale partners down for an evening of good food, good brews and a chance to say thank you for supporting Field & Fire.

We genuinely wouldn’t be here without the brilliant businesses who choose to serve our coffee, so it was great to get everyone together, show you around the new roastery and spend an evening together outside of the usual working day.

We had food from and drinks from to keep everyone well fed and watered throughout the evening.

And now, it’s time to open the doors properly.

See you all tomorrow morning, Sunday 13th September, from 9am to 12 noon for the official opening of our new roastery. Everyone’s welcome, so come down, have a look around and grab a brew with us.

We can’t wait to see you there.

Our roastery doors are open, THIS Sunday the 13th 9AM-12PM and we would love to see you.

Pop in and say hello, browse the shelves and get a real feel for where your coffee comes from.

While you are here, buy a bag of your favourite blend and we will pop a free brew in your hand to enjoy as you look around.

There will also be free tastings on the day, so if you have never tried one of our single origin coffees, now is a good time to change that.

We also have something new brewing that is exclusive to the day, and the only way to get in on it is to be here. Trust us, you do not want to miss out on this!

No pressure, no upselling, just good coffee and a proper chat if you want one.

Why not swing by and see what all the fuss is about?

The final pieces are falling into place.

The coffee machine is in, the sofa’s found its spot, and we’ve got a few pictures and bits of art up on the walls.

It’s starting to feel like a proper roastery now, and we’re getting very close to opening the doors.

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.

We’ll be opening the doors on Sunday 13th September, and we’d love to see you there.

Ever had a proper look at what’s on your bag of coffee?

Ours tells you everything. Where it’s from, what roast it is, and the date it was roasted.

No vague labels, no guesswork. Just the facts, printed plainly so you know exactly what you’re buying.

There’s a QR code too, if you want to dig a little deeper into where your coffee’s come from.

We reckon if you’re trusting us with your morning brew, you should be able to trust everything we tell you about it.

Specialty coffee gets talked about a lot, but what does it actually mean?

There’s a lot that goes into getting great coffee from where it starts to your brew.

From carefully chosen beans, to tasting different coffees before we commit, to finding the right roast, every step plays a part.

And of course, there’s one thing that officially makes a coffee specialty: it needs to score 80 or above.

Swipe through for a look behind the scenes at what goes into it.
