Today, Aslan, Edmund, Caspian & Mr Tumnus were visited by our friends at @ Natterjack Alpacas who gave them a fresh trim ready for the summer 🌞

Although not the most enjoyable activity for them, they were good boys throughout and enjoyed a good frolic afterwards 🦙💚

It’s been a little quiet on the alpaca front lately… and for that, we’re sorry!

Behind the scenes, life has been wonderfully busy — juggling the day jobs, parenting, calving cows, and even a bit of wedding planning too 💍🐄 Everything is very much in full swing here at Hall Carr Farm!

While we’ve been rushing around, the boys have been doing what they do best… relaxing, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying the slower pace of farm life ☀️🦙

We’ll be back with more fluffy updates very soon!

The children are asleep, the machinery is put away, the cows are settled in the barn, and the whole farm finally exhales. It’s peaceful… just me and them. These are my favourite moments 🤍

Tonight the sky is so clear and beautiful, and standing out there in the stillness, it’s a gentle reminder of why I love this life so much. 🌕

Training day looks a little different around here 🦙💛

Gentle exposure to everyday sounds- like the giggles and chatter of one of our little helpers- movements, and experiences- and the unpredictable energy that comes with children- they learn that noise isn’t something to fear.

It’s all done at their pace, with plenty of reassurance, so they grow into calm, confident animals 😌

Can we have a moment for Edmund please 🤚🏼

Edmund is the quietest boy of the group — the one who doesn’t push for attention or make a big fuss. For a while, we thought he might be shy… but it turns out, he’s just wonderfully chilled.

He’s the kind of alpaca who’s perfectly content watching the world go by, taking everything in at his own pace. No drama, no rush — just calm, gentle vibes.

And the best part? He always looks like he’s smiling 😊
