This girl is absolutely next level! 🔥

Millie Tomlinson has shown incredible commitment, determination, and progression throughout her tug-of-war career. Since beginning her international journey in 2022, she has continued to rise through the age groups and establish herself as a force in senior competition.

At the English Nationals, Millie pulled all four ladies’ weight classes AND the 4x4 — and incredibly, she never lost an end all day. She never looked jaded or tired and was ready to pull in whatever position her coach needed her in. 💪🔥

Her international record tells the story of an athlete who has continued to progress year after year:

🥉 Junior Open Club Mixed 520kg
🥉 Closed Junior Women 480kg

🇬🇧 2023 – Under 23
🥈 U23 Open Club Mixed 560kg

🇬🇧 2024 – Senior
5th place with England in the Senior Women, helping qualify for the World Games.

🇨🇳 2025 – World Games, Chengdu
5th place with Great Britain in the Women’s 500kg.

But Millie’s contribution goes far beyond medals. ❤️

She never misses a training session, always gives everything she has, and is constantly helping teach and develop the less experienced girls on her team. She pulls wherever her team needs her and leads through her work ethic and example.

And when she isn’t training or competing? She’s helping run a busy dairy farm! 🐄💪

Millie represents everything that makes tug of war special — strength, commitment, teamwork, progression, selflessness, and an absolute love for the sport.

There truly is no doubt that Millie gives her all to tug of war, and she continues to inspire those around her every time she steps onto the rope.

🏆💪 THIS SUNDAY, SOME OF BRITAIN’S BEST TUG OF WAR TEAMS ARE COMING TO CHARNWOOD FOREST FARM! 💪🏆

We’re very excited to be hosting the Melton Mowbray Ladies Tug of War Competition & National League Final this Sunday, 23rd August!

This one is particularly special for us as our daughter Millie pulls for Melton Mowbray Ladies 💗🖤, and we’d love to see lots of our milk customers, friends and local families come along to the competition and cheer her and the team on!

There’ll be some of the very best Tug of War teams in Britain competing, so if you’ve never watched competitive Tug of War before, it’s definitely worth coming along — the strength, teamwork and atmosphere are brilliant! 💪🔥

We get our fresh smoked salmon and pates that we stock in the farm shop every week from Stacey.
Stacey Welsh is a regular feature too the farm shop, and will be parked on the farm every Thursday 3pm-4pm so you can buy fresh caught fish alongside our fresh farmshop produce and goodies!

Well, they’ve just released a delicious new flavour, Raspberry Drizzle!

Real raspberries, six ingredients and sweetened only with Raw Honey.

🍦 Exciting news, Charnwood 🍦

From tomorrow, we’ll be stocking something a little special in the farm shop… Honest Scoop, a brand new 100% natural ice cream made right here in Leicestershire using OUR MILK!

You might be wondering what makes it different. Here’s the full ingredient list:

British grass-fed dairy, raw honey, free-range egg yolks, dried skimmed milk, and all-natural flavourings. That’s it.

No stabilisers, no emulsifiers, no refined sugar, just proper honest ice cream made the way it’s supposed to be.

It was started by James, a local Rothley dad who flipped a supermarket ice cream tub one day, counted 20+ ingredients, a lot of which he didn’t recognise, and didn’t want his son eating it so decided to start making his own. A year of building and refining later, Honest Scoop is ready to launch and we’re proud to be the very first place you can get your hands on it and excited to see where this partnership goes.
