Last night we had the pleasure of hosting a wine tasting evening at Charnwood Brewery’s 🍷✨

The theme? Single varietal wines - exploring 6 different countries, 6 different wines, each with its own unique story and character 🌍

Guests enjoyed a fun evening of discovery, perfectly paired with a delicious charcuterie board while learning more about what makes each wine so special 🧀 🍇

Bright and fragrant with cherry and redcurrant dominating the nose with a touch of spice.
The palate is soft, silky and pure. Definitely lots of big fruit flavours with a lovely fresh, clean feel.
🍴Goes well with every kind of meat, pâté and mature cheeses.

Tierra de Castilla, Spain 🇪🇸
Tropical and zesty with a spiky, fresh acidity.
The nose is full of beautifully ripe fruits with a touch of white flower which follow onto the palate. In the mouth the wine feels even more concentrated. Melon and papaya fruit comes to mind, and the juice is nicely textured with a zippy, saline acidity.
🍴Great with seafood and fish, char-grilled vegetables and even fresh fruit.
