All three bars are open until 11pm today and tomorrow. Local band Heart of Oak are playing this evening at Quorn Station from 1930.

Charnwood Brewery takes to the rails!

From Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st September Charnwood Brewery will be taking over the recently overhauled bar car at the Great Central Railways Beer, Cider & Gin festival. For four days travel in style and enjoy all the delights of your local whilst on the move, hauled by heritage steam and diesel engines.

With 4 draught ales and a selection of bottled beers, with freshly made cobs, sausage rolls and pork pies also available, this is an experience not to be missed! Featuring “Moondoor”, a 2025 Gold award winning beer, “Steam Train” and “STOMP” which is helping to support a local charity LOROS.

The countdown is on!

Only 5 weeks to go until we throw open our doors for this years festival. The event starts on Thursday with a diesel running day featuring our newly outshopped refreshment car offering hand pulled ales, before the rest of the bars open from Friday.

Travel the length of the line and sample a wide range of beers, ciders or gin whilst you sit back and relax!

The bars are free to enter, but tickets are required to travel using our heritage trains.
