An impromptu visit to Graham Fidling Traditional Butcher and Quality Mobile Butcher Woodhall Spa resulted in the inspiration for today's lunch.
After purchasing two beautiful lamb rump's that's all the inspiration I needed for a twist on Sunday dinner cooked over live fire.
Fire seared lamb rump with foraged damson and lamb sauce, roasted new potatoes and fire roasted mangetout, tenderstem broccoli, leeks and carrots with whipped feta.
A great way to enjoy the last of the summer sun, fire roasted Sunday lunch cooked over Big K Products charcoal at Cams House

The morning after the day before and what an epic day it was.
Community spirit was in full force at The Green Man Scamblesby yesterday.

A massive thank you goes out to Jade Dillon-Letch
Terri Greensides Nick Greensides and poppy for all your amazing help with Cams House
I definitely couldn't of done it without you ❤️

To all the volunteers at the Green Man Scamblesby
You have done it again, you have pulled out all the stops to ensure our community and everyone who visited us yesterday and an epic day and for that we are all very thankful 🙏

Also there has to be a big shout out to the bands Collided and luda blues for keeping us all entertained.

And not forgetting Belchford Marquee Company for the marquee that made the event run so smoothly 🙏
Apologies from myself if your wait for food was a little longer than expected yesterday, the nature of how we cook the food over live fire and cooking to order means sometimes we have a backlog of orders. We thought it may of been busy yesterday but could of never predicted how many people would come and support cams house.

Thank you to everyone who purchased some food from us yesterday we really hope you enjoyed it so we can arrange more pop up events alongside The Green Man.

A massive thank you to Belchford Marquee Company
With the weather looking at little changeable tomorrow these guys have come to the rescue of the Green Man Scamblesby charity, and very generously loaned a marquee for tomorrow's event.

Its national Burger day so I thought i would share with you a couple of our burgers over the last few years just in case you need a little inspiration of what burger to cook for tea tonight 😁
