Good morning everybody ☺️

I think the heat finally got to me have had a strange 24hrs ( texting messages to the wrong people) and forgetting to put the eggs out yesterday 🤦🏼‍♀️

The girls have their ice block ready for this afternoon I also still have one moody broody hen (Queenie) and I’m not her favourite at the minute 🫣

Wow it got hot yesterday the girls struggled with the heat during the day and night ☀️

The girls have a treat of lettuce cucumber and watermelon today (all help to keep them cool) and a ice block for later on 🧊🧊 the umbrellas are up aswell

Apologies for being M.I.A this weekend we have been busy extending the girls run the have a bit more space now. 🤗

The girls decided I needed help to shovel the dirt ….. they were more of a hindrance but they did try to help. 🤦🏼‍♀️

As well as extending the run we have put extra predator proofing around the edges into the ground to help protect the girls. ❤️

They seem to be happy with the extension and I’ve moved some bits around in the run.

Normal service will resume from tomorrow ☺️

Good morning everyone ☀️

The girls are having cucumber and lettuce as their treat today and they also have ice cubes in the extra water stations. I’ve also put the big umbrella up to give extra shade on their run 🐓☀️

I’ve put a couple of boxes out the front today 🥚
