With a week off work there will be at least two brew days happening.
First planned is a wheat beer (Brick red in colour) and probably a very hoppy NEIPA. Updates to follow

After what seems an eternity since I last brewed, I have next Saturday scheduled as a brew day. I will be brewing a batch of Darkside of the Hop, a recipe I haven’t done for a few years. This was featured in the recent edition of Dark Farms “Mashed Magazine”. If any of those who follow my page have tried the recipe, I would love top get your feedback.

Some overseas work trips and domestic DIY projects detracted from brewing but I plan some focused activity in the coming months.

I recently upgraded my Mashed subscription to the quarterly kit so i get to pick an all grain recipe each quarter. Today I brewed the Supernova IPA at 5.3%. I have to say it was a pleasure to work with such quality ingredients. I hit the suggested gravity levels both pre-boil and the desired OG of 1.054 came out at 1.055. Better still the pre-boil PH level was 5.28 which is in the optimum band for an IPA 5.2 to 5.4 to assist fermentastion
