🏆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🏆

Entries are now open for this years National Flock Competition!

Held every four years, the flock competition is open to all members and flocks of all sizes, which fall into four categories; 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸, 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 and 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸.

Judging by Mr Rex Vincent of the Pixie Flock will take place between late September and Early October 2025.

Results will be announced at the AGM and Presidents Dinner in October.

Long but enjoyable day at Burwarton on Thursday, and delighted to have taken 1st prize with our ram lamb.
This is from a different sire - Honddu Casanova 6076. Born 1st May but already weighing in at 45kg.

We’re pleased to announce the dates for this years official Clun Forest Sheep Society sales:

✅ 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲 – Friday 12th September 2025, conducted by McCartneys Rural

✅ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲 – Saturday 27th September 2025, held at Borderway Mart by Harrison & Hetherington and organised by the Northern & Scottish Regional Group of the CFSBS.

Entries will open later in the year, with more details to follow. In the meantime, please add these dates to your diaries — we look forward to seeing you there! 🐏

Our ewe decided to surprise us on the last day of May. Scanned as empty, she produced this pretty pair of ewe lambs to round off the lambing season.

We’re proud to announce that the Clun Forest Sheep Breeders Society will be marking their centenary celebration right here at Burwarton Show on Thursday 7th August 2025. 😀
