📦 Order online for nationwide delivery BEFORE 5pm Tuesday 16th December for delivery on Thursday 18th. Delivery is now just £6, or you can collect from the farm.

🍗 Large Whole Chicken (3-3.5Kg with giblets) succulent and tasty and will make a fantastic stock too (Serves 5-7 people) - £34

🥩 Bone Rib of Beef—a show stopping 3.6kg joint from our pasture-raised Aberdeen Angus herd (Serves 6-8 generously) - £140

🥩 Whole Fillet of Beef—a 2kg cut prized for its unrivalled tenderness and subtle, clean flavour (serves 8-10 people) £160

Other great options for smaller gatherings include 2–2.5kg chickens or beef joints such as silverside or topside.

You can also choose to build your own box with a selection of cuts to keep everyone well fed over the festive period.

Finally, (as if that is not enough!) we have gift cards available - a great gift to introduce friends or family to our fantastic produce.

🐓 A couple of weeks ago we had a fantastic day welcoming people to Planton farm to learn about the practicalities of pastured poultry. We covered topics from housing design, water infrastructure, shed moving and predator protection through to breeds and feed. It was a hands on event with everyone getting stuck in and working on the tasks together. We ended the morning with a well deserved brunch with produce from the farm. It was wonderful to see such a selection of old and new faces. We hope everyone enjoyed the morning as much as we did.

📍This event was part of the Trail which is an annual event to showcase Shropshire’s abundance and the people who make our local food landscape exceptional!

We were encouraged and excited to hear our Dual Purpose Impeckable Poultry project was mentioned by Dame Angela Eagle, Minister for State at DEFRA, in yesterday’s House of Commons debate on male chick culling!

As Dame Angela discusses, we have observed large welfare improvements of the dual purpose males compared to meat birds. The males had nice clean feet and were incredibly mobile (no walking difficulties) such that they could display their full behavioural repertoire. The carcasses are indeed different in conformation, but also different in taste! By supporting the bird’s story with a strong brand we believe this is not beyond reach of citizens.

The females are mid-lay currently and so we wait to see what results we get from them.
