Pop those chocolate chips in, give it a minute in the microwave, and voilà — warm, gooey, dreamy cake for one. Full recipe is right there on the card — save it for your next emergency baking moment! Looking for something a little different for the children in your school, club or community group this Halloween?

We’re bringing our Kids Halloween Baking Classes out into the community this October! 🧁🕷️

We can bring the baking fun to:

1. Your oven temperature is lying to you 🌡️. Every oven runs differently. An oven thermometer is one of the cheapest most game changing bits of kit you’ll ever buy. (You’ll pick up a cheap one on Amazon). Pre heat your oven to the correct temperature 🌡️for 10-15 mins before baking.

2. Weigh everything ⚖️. Baking is a science, not guesswork. Get yourself a good set of digital scales and your results will be consistent every time 🕰️

3. Room temperature ingredients only. Cold eggs and butter from the fridge don’t play nicely together. Take them out an hour before you start.

Scones - cream first or jam first? The great debate, do whatever makes you happy. Just don’t put them both on at the same time and call it a day 😊

You work from the bottom up. Start with sandwiches, move to the scones, then finish with the sweets. It’s a journey, not a free for all - although nobody’s watching that closely!

The spoon stays in the saucer. Once you’ve stirred your tea, the spoon rests in the saucer. Small detail - big energy ☕️
