We’ve got duck eggs back in the honesty box at Hill Croft!
If you’ve never baked with duck eggs before, you’re missing a trick. They’re a bit richer than chicken eggs, which makes cakes lighter, sponges fluffier and pastries beautifully golden. They’re especially good in things like brownies, victoria sponge and homemade pasta where that extra richness really comes through.
We’ve had a few regulars tell us they won’t go back to chicken eggs for baking now… high praise indeed!
As always, they’re fresh from our ducks so just pop by the box. Thank you so much for the continued support, it honestly means a lot 💛
