And our Open Days are over. We had such a great time and we’d like to thank everyone who took the time to come. It was a pleasure to have so many people ask us questions about our project and lives and try our wines!

Open Days - day 1 ☑️

Thank you so much to everyone who came yesterday! We had such a great time talking about our project, our lives at the vineyard and showing our entire range of wine.

What you can expect when booking a cheese and wine tour - 6 delicious British cheeses selected by our œnologist paired exquisitely with six of our wines.

But also, a tour of the vineyard, and a tour of the winery.

One of our favourite activities, as it’s a great way to show the amazing British terroir to our guests and our work here at the vineyard.

You will be able to find similar boards of cheeses and even some charcuterie during our Open Days, to enjoy with a glass of wine in the vineyard! Will we see you there?

On the garden side, we set ourselves a challenge this year and decided to build a bigger greenhouse for our own consumption. All this because we’re trying to limit our impact on the planet and to reduce the plastic wrapping.

When we first moved to the UK, we were shocked when we saw almost all vegetables wrapped in plastic in shops so we decided then to eat more locally and organic. And what could be better than to produce our own vegetables?

To limit the cost and our impact, we decided on a second hand one and to entirely build it ourselves. Which was a big investment in time and energy but we’re already getting so much of it back!

We still have a long way to go before we are 100% self-sufficient, if we can ever be. But it’s more step to eating better and living slower following the seasons.

Already two weeks that we had the privilege of celebrating our love with all our friends and family. Such a wonderful day, with great food and wine of course. Thanks to Charlie Herring for helping us with our 2021 sparkling that we had the chance to share for all our guests as a pre-release!

We had a wonderful ceremony in the vineyard, followed by an incredible meal by the team The Larder House and an eventful Ceilidh where we danced until our feet hurt!

And now we have wonderful pictures that really captured the wild energy of the day from Hannah Lucy Photography - Hampshire Wedding Photographer to remember that special day forever.

What a day! Next big event at the vineyard are the Open Days on the first weekend of August.
