Making a difference in March ❤️
As an ethically focused business we are always looking at ways to improve the lives of the amazing tea pickers.
This month in collaboration with our sister company we'd like to introduce the ,based in Sri Lanka this award winning charity focuses on the welfare & education of the pickers families.
"We run educational programmes for children and young people in Sri Lankan tea estates, lifting them and their families out of poverty through employment, further education and training. The current constantly evolving economic situation in Sri Lanka, in particular, the high inflation and increased cost of living, is making it extremely difficult for our students to regularly attend school. They are being forced to choose between going to school and having enough food for their family." - Tea Leaf Trust
This month we have committed to giving 10% of our retail sales to this amazing charity to help with their continued work.
We'll be updating you at the end of the month to let you know more.
Remember" it's not just a cup of tea "
