Howard was an amazing guy, let’s all get behind this link below for any donations
Sending huge support to Michelle Waddington, who's on the final stretch of an incredible challenge – cycling 274 miles throughout August, with just 44 miles left to go 🚴♀️
Michelle is riding in memory of her dad, Howard, for Brain Tumour Research. Howard was diagnosed with a high grade glioma on 19th December and given 6-12 months to live. Over Christmas his symptoms progressed quickly, and that time was reduced first to 3-6 months, then to just weeks. He passed away on 18th March, at home, surrounded by his family.
Michelle and her family want to raise awareness of just how devastating and fast-moving this condition can be – turning their world upside down in a matter of months. Just 1% of national cancer research funding goes towards brain tumours, despite them killing more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer.
Michelle hadn't been on a bike in years before taking this on. Our community has rallied behind her and she has smashed her original £1,000 target, raising over £2,400 so far.
Michelle, you're nearly there. Keep going, we are all behind you and I'm sure your dad would be immensely proud.
If you can spare anything for Michelle's final push, every donation helps: https://www.justgiving.com/page/michelle-waddington-1?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL
