📍Fresh Cafe (Orchard Road, St. Anne’s)

Hey Crew! 👋🏼

Today, we’re back in St. Anne’s, and this time we’re visiting Fresh Cafe! 😋

Now, this lovely little cafe is run by two wonderful ladies, Sarah & Adele! ❤️

It’s been quite some time since I last saw these two! I was a lot younger and cuter back then… (Alright, Cal, give it a rest!) 🤣😏

Anyway, moving swiftly on to the grub! 👇🏼

🥔 CAL’S BITE OF THE DAY!
Jacket Potato with Savoury Tuna – £7.95

🥔 AUNTIE ‘BITE SIGHTS’ GRUB!
Jacket Potato with Cheese & Beans – £7.95

🥗 Both meals came served with salad!

☕️ LATTE TIME!
Regular to large lattes range from £3.40 – £3.95.

🍰 AND THEN CAME THE CAKE!

Now, after polishing off my jacket potato, I honestly didn’t think I could manage another bite! 😂

But then the lovely ladies asked if we’d like to try their Guinness Cake! 🍰

Well… it would’ve been rude to say no, wouldn’t it? 🤣

So, Auntie ‘Bite Sights’ and I shared a slice, and let me tell you, it was lovely! It even came with a cute little ‘shovel’ too! 🪏

I did feel a little tipsy afterwards, mind you… 🍺🤣 (I’m still not funny…I get it)

⭐️ CAL’S THOUGHTS!

Overall, another lovely meal and a really enjoyable visit!

Fresh Cafe has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and it’s always nice walking into somewhere with such a positive vibe! 👌🏼

Sarah & Adele are always smiling, and the rest of the staff were equally friendly and welcoming! ❤️

It’s lovely seeing you both again after all this time!

Went for a pulled pork spud with cheese & crispy onions! 😋 Absolutely hit the spot! Had a cheeky latte too! ☕️

📍 Le Patio Restaurant & Bar – Wood Street, St. Anne’s 🇮🇹🍝🍕

HEY BITE SIGHTS CREW! 👋🏼😃

Rain, rain, go away! 🌧️😂

It’s another miserable, rainy day here on the Fylde Coast, but that won’t stop Cal from getting out and about for another food adventure! 🚶🏻‍♂️☕️

Today, I’m back in St. Anne’s, and our destination is Le Patio, situated on Wood Street!

Let’s see what’s cooking! 👀👇🏼

🍝 CAL’S BITE OF THE DAY! – £12.95

Penne al Salmone 🐟

Penne pasta tossed in a delicious, creamy tomato sauce with smoked salmon!

Something a little different for Cal today, and what a lovely choice it turned out to be! 👌🏼

🍕 AUNTIE ‘BITE SIGHTS’ GRUB – £9.95

Margherita Pizza

A classic Margherita pizza! You can’t go wrong with a bit of pizza, can you? 😂🍕

☕️ We also treated ourselves to two lovely lattes!

💷 TOTAL BILL: £28.40👌🏼

💭 SO, WHAT DID CAL THINK?

Well, Crew, I’ve got to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Both dishes were absolutely delicious, nicely presented and, most importantly, filling! 😋

And for £28.40 for two meals and two coffees, I thought that was very reasonable indeed! 👏🏼

The waitress looking after us was lovely, friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. ❤️

We also had a visit to our table from one of the chefs, a lovely lad named Ashton, who I believe is the new owner!

He came over for a little chat and asked how we’d enjoyed our meals. It’s always nice when someone takes the time to come over, have a conversation and make sure their customers are happy! 👏🏼

So I’d like to wish them all the very best moving forward! ❤️

Ashton & Team Le Patio, thank you for a lovely meal and for making us feel so welcome!

Great food, lovely hospitality, reasonable prices and full bellies! What more could Cal ask for? 😂👌🏼

Hope everyone’s had a cracking weekend! ❤️

Today, we’re back in lovely Lytham St. Anne’s (LSA), and tonight’s stop on Cal’s food adventures is The Fairhaven Pub! 🍻🍴

Nothing beats a nice pub meal to round off the weekend, does it? 😍

And tonight, we certainly enjoyed our grub! 👌🏼

🍔 CAL’S BITE OF THE DAY!

CHICKEN HASH BURGER – £15.50

Crispy coated chicken topped with Monterey Jack cheese, streaky bacon, sticky BBQ sauce and a hash brown! 🤤

Served with a pot of chicken gravy!

I also decided to treat myself to a little upgrade and swapped my regular fries for sweet potato fries for an extra 50p! 🍠🍟

You know Cal loves a good burger, and this one certainly went down a treat! 😂👌🏼

🍗 AUNTIE BITE SIGHTS’ GRUB!

CRISPY CHICKEN GOUJONS – £7.00

Served with hot honey and buffalo mayo! 🌶️🍯

💭 CAL’S OVERALL THOUGHTS!

A lovely evening here at The Fairhaven!

The pub was fairly busy inside, with plenty of people enjoying their evening, but that didn’t slow the service down one bit! 👏🏼

The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming, and our food arrived nice and quickly!

Both meals were really enjoyable, and we had absolutely no complaints! Just a good, tasty pub meal in a nice atmosphere! 😃👌🏼

Another day, another little food adventure for Cal! 🚗🍴

Today I decided to check out somewhere that was recommended to me by YOU lovely lot! ❤️

Tucked away just off the bypass between Freckleton and Preston, down Lytham Road, you’ll find a lovely little hidden gem called The Courtyard Cafe! 💎

Now, you know Cal loves discovering these little hidden-away spots, so obviously I had to pop down and see what was on offer! 👀😂

🍴 CAL’S BITE OF THE DAY!

🌯 BARNYARD MELT – £9.95

A warm toasted wrap filled with chicken, smoky chorizo, melted cheese and red onion. Served with Lancashire crisps and a side salad! 🥗

I did feel it was slightly pricey for what I got, but it was still a nice meal, though. And it was nicely presented too👌🏼

Served with Lancashire crisps and a side salad! 👍🏻

There’s something I really enjoy about finding these little cafés tucked away from the busy town centres! 😍

A nice little visit to somewhere I probably wouldn’t have discovered if it wasn’t for one of you guys recommending it! 🫶🏻

And that’s one of the things I love about running this page. You guys are helping Cal discover places he might never have thought to visit! 👏🏼❤️
