What a fantastic day at the Dalziel Butchers' Show on Sunday 🥩🏆

Firstly, congratulations to everyone at Dalziel's on celebrating their 100th birthday 🎉🎉🎉

It was a privilege to be invited to judge both the Apprenticeship Competition and the Battle of the Butchers on behalf of National Craft Butchers, alongside many well-respected people from across the trade. The standard on display was exceptional, and it was inspiring to see so many butchers showcasing their skills and passion for the trade 🔪

A huge congratulations to David from Alex Bickett Limited on winning the Apprenticeship Competition. What a fantastic achievement and a well-deserved reward for all of his hard work 🏆

Congratulations also to Andrew and peter from Radford's Butchers for taking home the title in the Battle of the Butchers 2026. Their winning display was outstanding and a brilliant example of the craftsmanship, creativity and dedication that make our trade so special 🏆

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising such a fantastic event. It was great to catch up with fellow butchers from around the country, celebrate our trade and see first-hand the strength of the industry 🙏
