Sorry for the 4 minute ramble and for giving you The Rock eyebrow 😂 just a little down low on what's going on atm

But if you don't want to watch here's roughly what's said

Hi guys!

I thought I'd just pop on here real quickly — and I hope it really will be real quickly! — and let you know what's been going on with us over the past little while and what's going to be happening over the next few weeks.

I won't go into too much detail because that'll be for another video that I'll bore you all with!

Basically, we used to have our little healthy junk food café down on Victoria Road, and we decided to switch things up a bit and get a little bit closer to the high street.

So we found this place.

And, to say we've had trouble… we've had A LOT of trouble!

Builders letting us down, electricians putting water heaters on the wrong way, money being wasted here, there and everywhere, smashed windows…

And then I was quite poorly with my arthritis over the summer.

And, as you might have noticed, we haven't actually been open since the kids went back to school because Mum became really poorly.

It's all still under investigation at the minute, but she's been in hospital and, honestly, it's been quite scary.

My mum never has a day off sick. She doesn't really get ill. She has the odd cold, but that's about it.

As Dad said, she hasn't really done a stint in hospital since she had me!

So, yeah… it's been a bit scary, and we're still not completely sure what's going on.

But we're hoping that now she's getting the investigations and treatment she needs, she's going to start getting better.

She hasn't been able to come into work for about six weeks now, which is why we've had to close.

But on the plus side, we're going to start opening again from next week!

I've got our lovely Cher, who is absolutely brilliant at her job, and although she's still quite new, she's going to be working downstairs for us on Friday and Saturday while I'm upstairs baking and getting everything ready for our new winter menu.

We're still going to have our pasta salads and salad boxes, but we're going to be switching things up a bit.

We're going to have hot pasta bakes, pie and veg boxes, street food boxes, dipping boxes and lots of other bits and pieces.

So, I know we've been a little bit up and down over the past couple of years, and we are going to have a bit of a mountain to climb getting everything back up and running.

So please, please, please stick with us and support us, because we're really going to need you over the winter.

We'd absolutely love to see you back through those doors.

So come and eat all our food, please!

We really can't wait to get back to it.

Good afternoon, a quick update for you.
Health wise I am not improving, had tests done and still a few to go.
To our lovely wholesale customers waiting for invoices, I'm really sorry I will get around to them as soon as I'm physically able.
