Another bragging post. Carry on flying the flag for girls football. What an amazing performance from all of you.

Team Goal U10s competed with the best teams across the northwest today in the MYSL International Women’s Day Tournament…and won it! Parents and coaches (never mind the girls) were all exhausted after an emotional rollercoaster. But the girls competed brilliantly, played some delightful football and each individual had their own special moment of contribution throughout the tournament. A true team effort and we are so proud of every one of them 🤩🩵🖤🤍

What a team!! ⚽️ 🥅

Team Goal U10s player in a great match against Stockport Boys this weekend.
Evelyn was calm in possession and read the game very well to position herself to s***f out the opponent attacks.
Amara was creative on the ball and played some very clever passes to break lines.
Jas was very solid in her 1v1 battles and competed very well against some talented attackers.
Halle was given an opportunity to play up a year and handled it brilliantly showing great calmness to make good decisions on the ball.
Harper was box to box in midfield working very hard to transition back into defence when we lost possession.
Izzy was fabulous in goal making several important stops at her near post to deny her opponent.
Isla played with great intensity to pressure her opponent quickly and win the ball high up the pitch. Isla added a goal to her performance with a fine finish.
Yaz showed quick feet on the wing and some good timing to release the ball at the right moments. Yaz scored the goal of the game with a powerful strike into the top corner.
Essie played her first match for Team Goal and capped it with a fine strike to finish the game off for her team.
Player of the day was Lily who was unplayable at times when she drove with the ball and broke lines. Lily also scored a lovely finish powering the ball past the keeper.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!

We will be back out on our usual round on Thursday 2nd January. If we normally visit your workplace then rest assured we will be there.

Team Goal U10s finished off 2024 with a resounding performance against the boys.
The outstanding goals of the game from a fine powerful strike from Harper from outside the box into the top corner. Followed shortly after from a brilliant team move, some fine footwork to cut inside from Holly before releasing Amara who’s nimble footwork took her away from the onrushing keeper to finish.
There were great performances all around from the girls and they can be incredibly proud of their season thus far. Have a lovely Xmas girls and we can’t wait to see you back in action in 2025 🩵🤍🖤
