Hey, whilst we're sad to see summer go, autumn is here and what a time it'll be. 🍂

This summer has been a toasty one for our bees, and they've definitely enjoyed the rays! 🌞

Soon, the honeybees will begin their preparations for the colder months, after a hardworking summer, and we'll continue our operations at HVH HQ; with just a few more longing glances outside at the falling leaves...

(We can't promise you won't spot Paul rolling about in them.)

If there's one honey that stops people in their tracks, it's this one. 🍯

Our Heather Honey is the last crop of the season, gathered from the moorlands of the Peak District as summer draws to a close.

Deep amber in colour, complex in flavour, with smoky, woody, and floral notes that you simply won't find anywhere else. It's unlike anything else in our range.

Our Happy Valley truck is back and better than ever. 🐝

After a little time off the road, our trusty truck is up and running again and already hard at work helping us bring in the harvest.

Paul has been putting it through its paces this week, and according to Chloe, riding in it is like being on the Oblivion. We'll take that as a good sign.

Raw or organic? It's a question we get asked a lot. 🍯

Both sound great on the surface, but they actually mean very different things. Raw honey is about how it's processed, kept cold, minimally filtered, and as close to the hive as possible.

Organic honey is about how the bees forage, with strict controls on the surrounding environment and crops.

Here in the UK, truly certified organic honey is incredibly difficult to guarantee. Bees fly up to five miles from the hive and there is simply no way to control every flower they visit.

Raw honey, on the other hand, is something we can stand behind completely.

Every jar of Happy Valley Honey is cold extracted, coarsely filtered, and never pasteurised.

Real honey, the way it should be. 🐝
