Happy Valley Honey

Meet the people behind the honey 🍯

Paul's usually the one you'll find out with the bees or chatting away at markets, Claire's the one keeping everything organised behind the scenes, the reason the whole operation runs smoothly.

Then we have Chloe, Pete and Daisy who help keep everything running! From the hives to the honey room to getting orders out the door.

Five of us, a lot of bees, and a shared love of good honey. That's Happy Valley in a nutshell.

Say hello below 🐝

Before you ask; we don't sell honey jars that small... yet. 🤏

Have you tried this particular honey (hey, we're not spoiling it for those who haven't zoomed in yet...) before?

Well, take this as a sign to pick up one for yourself! 🍯

This Pumpkin Honey Bun Cake is everything we want on a cosy September evening.

A gooey brown sugar and walnut filling, a moist spiced sponge, and a Cinnamon Honey glaze that ties it all together beeeeeeautifully.

Full recipe on the slides, let us know if you give it a try! 🍰

Shot on film, just the way we like it. 🐝

This Sunday we are back at Treacle Market in Macclesfield and we would love to see you there. Come and say hello, have a taste, and pick up a jar or two.

Oh, and bring your dog. We clearly attract the best ones.

See you there! 🍯

Every hive has one. And without her, nothing works. 👑

The queen bee is the heart of the colony. She can lay up to 2,000 eggs a day at the height of summer, keeping the population thriving and the hive functioning. But her role goes far beyond laying eggs... Her pheromones regulate the mood, behaviour, and unity of every single bee around her.

What's extra fascinating (in our opinion...) is that any female larvae could become a queen. It all comes down to diet. Future queens are fed exclusively on royal jelly, a rich secretion produced by worker bees, which triggers their development into a queen rather than a worker.

Nature is pretty remarkable, isn't it?

We have a brand new look and we are absolutely in love with it. 🐝

A big thank you to Jess and Kiera for bringing our vision to life with our new table banner and side panels. You may have already spotted them out and about at markets and events.

We are absolutely chuffed with how they've turned out!

We received the kindest message from Jo recently...

This is just a snippet of the message she sent us; how wonderful is it to be "the most beautiful honey someone had ever tasted"?!

Thank you so much for your message, we will always appreciate hearing from our customers.

If you fancy letting us know your thoughts on our honey, either leave us a Google review or just comment it here! We appreciate it. 🥹
