🌟 FRIDAY FRIDGE — WE NEED YOU THIS MORNING! 🌟

We have an absolutely HUGE amount of food to save from waste today — 527kg! 😲🍎🥕🥖
Stretch your budgets further over the bank holiday weekend-last week of school
Holidays, you can make some fab meals and have some great treats!

So please come along, bring a bag and help us make sure as much of it as possible goes home to be eaten rather than wasted.

This morning we have loads of fresh fruit and veg, bread and bakery items, milk and chilled food, plus fish, Nando’s chicken and some giant packs of frozen chicken. The frozen chicken packs are very large, so they’re ideal for sharing with family, friends or neighbours once safely defrosted and cooked. 🐟🍗

As always, everyone is welcome — the Community Fridge is for anybody who can make use of the food and help us reduce waste.

MAGOR & UNDY COMMUNITY FRIDGE – FRIDAY 🍎🥕🍌

We’ve got a fantastic amount of food to share tomorrow!

There’ll be bananas, carrots, beetroot, potatoes, onions, cauliflowers, courgettes, cucumbers, salad leaves, herbs, avocados and lots more fresh produce.

We also have plenty of fabulous frozen pork sausages, as well as milk and other fridge staples.

We have liquid eggs too! If you’re a baker or fancy making a great massive high- protein omelette with some of our versatile veg feel free to grab a a carton.

If any of this would help you, please come along — everyone is welcome. There’s no referral needed and the whole idea is to make sure good food is eaten rather than wasted.

A lovely thank you to Team GAAAAP – Gareth, Alison, Andrea, Alison, Allan & Paul ❤️

They won the Magor and Undy Community Hub quiz again last week and very kindly donated their winnings to our Fridge.

The timing couldn’t have been better, as we’ve just been refreshing the fridge room with new paint, coverings and boards, so their donation will be put to very good use.

We’re always so grateful for the kindness and support we receive from our community. Thank you all so much — and congratulations on another quiz win! 😊👏

☀️ It might be hot outside, but we’ve still got LOTS of lovely food that needs a home tomorrow! 💚

Just look at what’s waiting at Magor & Undy Community Fridge, fresh fruit and veg, potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, peppers, courgettes, berries, yoghurts, milk, sausages (loads of!) and plenty more.

And with gardens and allotments producing so much at this time of year, please remember that we’re also very happy to receive surplus home-grown fruit, vegetables and herbs. If you’ve got more than you can use, bring it along and we can help make sure it gets eaten rather than wasted. 🌱🥕🍅

🌟 Community Fridge – Open Tomorrow! 🌟

Just a reminder that the Magor & Undy Community Fridge will be open tomorrow from 10:30am until 12:00pm.

⏰ Please remember we don’t open until 10:30am, so there’s no need to arrive early.

We’ve given the Fridge a little refresh and can’t wait to welcome you to our new-look space!

Tomorrow’s selection includes a fantastic range of fresh produce, including:
