It’s venison season! 🦌

But did you know that eating wild venison plays an important role in helping to manage and protect our countryside? 🌱

With no natural large predators in the UK, deer populations need to be responsibly managed to help protect young trees, crops, woodland and habitats — keeping the natural ecosystem in balance.

And nothing goes to waste. Our deer are responsibly managed and hunted right here at Loddington, providing us with incredible local, seasonal venison that’s naturally high in protein and comes from animals that have lived freely on a natural diet.

🌾 From our land to your plate.

Our own Loddington venison is available in the Farm Shop now — pop in and give it a try! 🥩🦌
