A massive thank you to Goldhanger nursery for raising £105 for .
This nursery has been truly wonderful in supporting us with Aiden so that Jeff and I can continue to work to provide for our children. They manage all his daily medication and heart rate checks amongst his day to day care.
This donation is perfectly timed as The Brompton Fountain are busy planning events to make Christmas truly magical for families who will be spending it in hospital.
Throwback image to Aiden's first Christmas in hospital before he was bluelighted to The Brompton on Christmas morning. I can't say enough how supportive this charity is to the whole family of a poorly child.

I’m proud to share that I have now become a Fundraising Champion for The Brompton Fountain ❤️

This really does mean the world to us. The Brompton Fountain has been by our side since the day our twins were born. As many of you know, our little Aiden has a complex heart condition, which means he’s in and out of hospital and needs constant care and medication. It’s been a tough journey, and this charity has supported us in ways we’ll never forget.

Being asked to take on this role is such an honour. I’ll be helping raise awareness, promote the incredible work they do, and support their fundraising and community projects however I can.

If any of my friends, family, or anyone in my wider network would like to get involved—whether by supporting events, helping with fundraising, offering resources, or even things like use of community spaces—please message me. Every bit of help makes a difference to families going through what we’re going through.

Thank you all for your love and support, and thank you to The Brompton Fountain for giving me this opportunity 💙

Hi all.
I had a horrific hatch rate this year and have far too many cockerels than I can find jobs for!
I have pure bred cockerels of:
Speckled Sussex
Light Sussex
Legbar
Cuckoo Marans
Rhode Island Red

And 1 x hybrid Legbar x Maran (Mars Bar) - he is 4 months.

I'd love to find lovely homes for them! I hatched from eggs and have handled. They are just over 2 months old

I am Maldon Area but would consider delivering locally.

New arrivals!!

Who on our page are Hedgehog lovers?? We are keen to help in the plight for safer places to feed, sleep, have hoglets and hibernate. But I havent got a clue where to begin?!

We have some lovely areas including 2 spinneys that remain largely undisturbed.

Where do we start with hedgehog feeding stations, nesting boxes, wildlife cameras (I love watching them), right foods, nesting material (bit late this year I know). Is there a good yearly timetable of what to offer when?

Please help us and drop any useful links or content below! And suggestion welcome.

We do have a fox with young every year and evidence of badgers. Definitely rats! But thanks to the lodger cat Indiana, they are being kept lower. But how to we rat-proof feeding stations?

Our pet chicken, Ginger, continues to keep us on our toes with her latest game of Hide and Seek...
