The beginning of the winter wind down… 🍁🍂

First of all ITS FAT FRIDAY! 🐽 a weekend of breakfast pies and later opening. Today we are open from 8am to 19:30 for all your takeaway night needs!🍤🍟

From next week beginning 12th this is our new opening hours. We will remain opening 8am every day but pull back our days a little closing 2pm (instead of 4pm) with our later nights at the weekend👌🏼

This will be the last couple of weeks though folks! We will take a much needed break and close for November for rest, family and deep cleaning jobs!🤣🧼

And will be back to report our winter plans ASAP once we’ve sorted opening days but fear not we will still be around plenty for you’re coffee and carb fix 😍 as well as our grazebox deliveries, Christmas catering and those all important Brie wreath gift boxes once we creep towards the festivities!🎄🧀

Sorry folks between lack of staff, putting in 12-14 hour shifts between the two of us covering fryers/catering and noticing a big drop in footfall the last week this is what we are managing for next couple weeks😁 main thing is fryers are on every lunch hour, we are open Friday/Saturday nights for you’re weekend treat and every morning 8am for you’re coffee fix 🤣☕️

We are closing at 5pm Tuesday and Thursday for just now but every other day it’s still 19:30 close and we open 8am every morning 😁

This is subject to change, like many seasonal businesses we are about to become understaffed with a lot of our fantastic team heading back to uni so it’s a case of juggling through the last couple busy months the best we can and adapting accordingly!💃🏼

A wee throwback story! Interesting fact about business plans, they often don’t go to plan 🤣

Originally our move into the deli/chip shop was actually scheduled for 2027 so in 2025 we took to renovating & successfully gaining planning permission for our ‘back up’ plan to tie us over 2026 which was going to be this little porch area downstairs from our catering kitchen and office converted into a wee coffee nook selling speciality barista coffee, pastries & bakes😍 we were pretty much ready to go!

Not very glam is it? No bigger than the horsebox actually 🤣 luckily for us plans changed early! We jumped at the opportunity to take the leap ready for season 2026 in the big takeaway! 😍
And now our little porch next door just houses deliveries, storage and our Tattie rumbler & chipper, not so glam🙈🤣 🥔 but so functional and essential to the business to have things on hand before having to sprint up 18 steps to our catering kitchens every 5 mins!🏃‍♂️🤣🙏🏼

Anyway, the real show stopper in all of this was our custom made worktop counter, Chris Pritchard from Arisaig took every detail I wanted to fit this space, how deep the shelves were to be, how the counter was to be high for a vast work space, strong enough to hold a 60kg coffee machine and the fact it had to be on wheels so originally we could move it into the new space the following year😍 highly recommend, thank you Chris!

Im learning to like it when things don’t seem to go to plan, it’s all just adding to the story 🥰

🚗 PLEASE RESPECT GLENFINNAN

We’re asking visitors and motorists to help keep Glenfinnan safe and protect our roadside verges.

🟡 Double yellow lines are there for a reason.

Please DO NOT PARK:
❌ On the road beside the yellow lines
❌ Over or across the yellow lines
❌ On the verge beyond the yellow lines

Parking in these areas can obstruct the road, create unnecessary safety risks and cause significant damage to our grass verges — damage which the community is left to deal with.

There are double yellow lines through these areas because parking is not appropriate, or safe there. Moving a vehicle a few feet onto the verge does not solve the problem.

🌿 Please help us protect Glenfinnan.

🚗 Park only in designated parking places, and car parks.

⚠️ Keep verges, and junctions clear.

💚 Respect the village and the people who live here.

The double yellow lines are there for a reason.
