Harvesting round 1 complete! Many thanks to all our volunteers (including the many not pictured) who helped us bring in around 1.5 tonnes of destined for . Schonburger next Saturday and Seyval Blanc in three weeks - good luck to our fellow over the next few weeks!

Harvesting 2026! We are extending harvesting to Sunday 6th too, picking our , please do get in touch if you are up for a sociable day helping us bring in the bacchus grapes for an exciting new wine. Lunch provided, and a bottle of wine to go away with - forecast looks decent at the moment, and we are looking for more volunteers on either this coming Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th, if interested please get in touch though DM or on [email protected]

⚠️ HARVESTING ALERT ⚠️ - loads of rain in the last week has dropped the Bacchus acid rapidly, so we will likely be harvesting it next Saturday 5th September. farmers market today, spot the new wine! Excuse the temporary labels, they will be full dressed up next week. 2025 is back! Wild ferment, old vines. This edition has aromatic notes of elderflower and English hedgerow, layered with ripe kiwi, passionfruit and flashes of zesty lime. The palate is generous and textured, carrying a broad, deep mouthfeel that wraps around the vibrant fruit, while a fine line of citrus acidity brings precision, freshness and energy through the finish.

Pairs well with mussels, prawn linguine, crab & avocado salad, chicken & asparagus, smoked salmon and goats cheese.

Good news! The 2023 Cloud Nine Field Blend is back in stock. All our grapes in one juicy package, 20% fermented in barrel. White peach, jasmine and a long mineral finish - great with sea bass, scallops, soft Cotswold cheeses and more.

A note for the Bacchus fans - 2025 vintage is imminent, so standby for that. Our Schonburger experiment is due in summer, and more pink sparkling hopefully later this year.

A brutal couple of nights for English vineyards, and our sympathies to all those who got frosted. We dont mitigate for frost generally (no candles or technology employed), but the old vines are tall and away from ground level and the surrounding woodland keeps some heat in - nevertheless the Schonburger vines took a bit of a battering. Thankfully our late pruning means we can lay down longer canes and extra buds, but expect the yield will be lower than usual. Hopefully thats the last of it!
