Our Pub Grub Scotchee has officially been awarded a Great Taste Award 2026! ⭐

Flavoured with homemade pickled onions and Two Farmers Salt & Vinegar Crisps, it’s a bold twist on a classic that’s clearly impressed the judges.

Coming just after National Scotch Egg Day, we’d say that’s pretty good timing 😉

A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported us, stocked us and, most importantly, eaten our Scotchees.

We've had lots of new followers recently, so I thought I'd introduce myself! 👋

I'm Rhian, founder of Veg Life 🌱

So, during lockdown, when venues could only serve alcohol with a "substantial meal", I created the Scotchee, our plant-based take on the classic Scotch egg. It looks, tastes and feels just like the real thing...it's just made entirely from plants.

Veg Life has always been about one thing: creating delicious food that everyone can enjoy, whether you're vegan, vegetarian or neither.
