Blouge might be having a moment, but Famille Fabre have been making theirs for ten years 🍷
We caught up with the lovely Clémence Fabre from to talk about their Blouge, a blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Viognier. Red and white grapes in one bottle.

For the label, the Fabres teamed up with illustrator to make a playing card where “Madame Syrah” and “Monsieur Viognier” come to life. It’s colourful and full of fun, which suits a w**e made for sharing.

In the glass it’s fruity, a little spicy, organic and very easy drinking. It also goes with almost anything you put on the table.

No. 3 in the Harpers Top 50 Drinks Wholesalers 2026 🍷

The judges had plenty to say about us, from our own w**eries to our early bets on Japan, Georgia, Lebanon and Uruguay. But we thought we’d hand the mic to the people who know Boutinot best.

So we asked the team one question: describe Boutinot in three words.

Dynamic. Restless. Innovative. Fun. And our personal favourite: red, white and rosé.

Some stuck to three, some didn’t (we’ll let it slide), but that’s us in a nutshell. Never quite sitting still, always looking for what’s next, and having a good time doing it.

That’s been the recipe since 1980, when this all started with a van.

October is Georgian W**e Month!

We’re spending the month celebrating 8,000 years of w**emaking history. As the birthplace of w**e and the pioneers behind amber (orange) w**e, Georgia’s w**e culture is truly in a league of its own.

On a recent trip to Teliani Valley in Kakheti, we were blown away by the breathtaking vineyards, deep history, and incredible w**es. But what stood out most was the warmth of Georgian hospitality. Food and w**e sit at the very heart of daily life - every meal and every glass is a celebration meant to be shared.

Massive congratulations to .macena.mw 🥂
Portugal now has its first ever Master of W**e, and it couldn’t happen to someone more deserving. Tiago’s spent years championing Portuguese native varieties and preserving old vines in the Dão, and this title is recognition of exactly that kind of dedication.
