Just an update on our kitchen equipment. We have sold a few things already but will attach a list of what is left. Ideally we are looking to sell as a package. We have been overwhelmed with all of your kind words and messages since our post yesterday and want to thank you all again for your support over the years!!

This is probably more sad than yesterday’s post but we are looking to sell our beloved kitchen equipment. It has served us well and has been very well looked after. With Nick being a professional chef we only bought the best equipment!! There’s so much fridge and oven space (buffets for 200 and up to 40 meal deals a week!!!)

If anyone know someone who is looking to start up a business at home, like we did, then this is the kit for you. We are happy for you to come and view it and we may be tempted to throw in some giant mixing bowls and gastro trays! We even have a Robot Coupe (When you know, you know!!!)

We are truly devastated to have to part from all of it, Iv never seen Nick as sad 😔.

GGD has some sad news to share with all of its lovely customers! ☹️

It has been a fantastic few years serving our family, home cooked food to the incredible people of Middleton but sadly the time has come to hang up our aprons and close the kitchen.

Due to the astronomical cost of food, gas, electricity and diesel (and that’s before our ridiculous tax bill!!!) we literally are running at a loss.

The business started as a simple idea of why no one serves fresh home cooked food to people’s doors. Who would have thought a few pies and some fresh bread and cookies on a market stall would lead us to the weekly meal deals, the Xmas hampers, Valentines Day meals, buffets, private dining and those 2AM starts to get our famous cheese and onions pies out to you all!!! We have made lots of food but many more friends along the way, you know who you are!!!

We’ve maintained our 5 star rating, made all of our food from scratch and most importantly done it all as a family (many of you being served by our daughters, you have to start them early 😆) and let’s not forget this was supposed to be our second job, a small part time business!!!!

We hope you all agree that our food was something special!!!!

It’s been really fun and we are very sad to be writing this post 😞
