Time to put the bees away for Winter.

We put treatments on our hives early this year, removed the honey, extracted it and are about to put the Super frames back on for winter.

Soon the hives will be full of Winter Bees. A specialised, long-living worker honey bees thats raised in late summer and autumn to sustain the colony through the cold months. They’re more aggressive (rightly so) and more hardy.

Welcome the meadow little gang! Look after our queens until Spring!

If you’d like to know more about our bees or to sponsor a hive like the brilliant Torsion, and please drop us a message.

Sponsorship starts from £1 a month.
