So we’re pretty chuffed to say that Cottonopolis is now on the bar at Fell Northern Quarter 🥃

We’re finally doing it…

On 23rd October, we’ll be hosting our first ever Oak & Verre tasting at Elysium.

It’s a bit of a milestone for us. We’ve spent a lot of time putting these first releases together, tasting them, talking about them and, if we’re honest, wondering whether anyone else would actually want to drink them!

So now we’re going to do the obvious thing, taste through the range together.

It should be a relaxed evening, with a chance to talk through the whiskies, where they came from and what we were trying to do with each release.

After a little summer break, we’re back Elysium Wh**ky Bar 🥃

And what better way to kick things off than with a brilliant evening with Fragrant Drops™️ last night.

Great wh**ky, great people and some seriously interesting drams — exactly how we like to start the new tasting season.
September is here, and we’ve got plenty more coming. 👀

What started as an idea officially became reality this morning, with Cottonopolis hitting the shelves at Aston's of Manchester and the back bar at Elysium Wh**ky Bar.

The idea was simple: can we capture Manchester in a bottle?

Cottonopolis is a 17 Year Old Ardmore, matured in an ex-Bourbon cask. With its smoke, oily character and waxy texture, we think it captures something of Manchester’s industrial past — but we’ll let you be the judge of that.

We wanted the bottle itself to tell that story too, so the artwork was created by SJ Young , a Manchester-based tattoo artist, with a design inspired by the city’s industrial heritage and the Manchester that gave Cottonopolis its name.

Most importantly, this bottle was created to give something back to the city that inspired it. A minimum of £10 from every bottle sold will be donated to The Christie, supporting the incredible work they do for people affected by cancer.

We’re delighted to be bringing Fragrant Drops™️ to Elysium Wh**ky Bar this September for a brilliant evening of wh**ky.

On the night we’ll be tasting through a fantastic line-up, including: White Peak, Caol Ila, Cawdor Springs, Glenlossie & Linkwood

Expect great drams, plenty of conversation, and a chance to explore the character and cask selection behind one of the UK’s most exciting independent bottlers.

Something new is quietly taking shape…

Earlier this month we visited to check in on a few casks we have resting away — and it’s safe to say, things are coming along beautifully.

There’s still a little time to wait, but this visit felt like an important step towards what comes next.

Oak & Verre is getting closer.

A new independent bottler from Dram Fine Drinks, built around characterful spirits, thoughtful cask selection, and their connection to nature.

A huge thank you to Rob for hosting our Tobermory tasting last night, and to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant evening. 🥃

We worked through some fantastic whiskies, shared plenty of stories, and explored everything that makes such a special distillery. Nights like these are what wh**ky is all about — great drams and even better company.

An unforgettable meeting of wh**ky and ch*****ne. 🥃🥂

Join us for a very special evening exploring the remarkable collaboration between and *****nepaullaunois — where Highland Wh**ky meets Grand Cru Ch*****ne influence.

This tasting will dive deep into provenance, place, and process, exploring how the character of Paul Launois Ch*****ne casks have intertwined with Ardnamurchan’s spirit over a series of releases. Together, they tell a story of terroir, innovation, and modern wh**ky making at its most exciting.

We’ll also be joined by Connie from Ardnamurchan, bringing first-hand insight into the project, the people behind it, and the evolution of these whiskies over time.

This may well be the first vertical tasting ever held of the Ardnamurchan Paul Launois releases — a great opportunity to experience the journey of these whiskies side by side along with the Ch*****ne.

A must for lovers of modern Scotch, cask exploration, and flavour-led wh**ky making.
