Thank you to and his fantastic team for a superb evening of food, wine and service!

I'd been waiting a long time to get a table here so I was very chuffed when my friend bagged us one.
We felt like we had the best table too, a great view watching the chefs prepare all the dishes for service.

The snacks were sensational - all devoured in (almost) one mouthful and packed full of flavours.
I could eat the glazed lobster on grilled sourdough every day for brunch 🦞 😄

We were then invited to the chef's counter for our first course of Orkney scallops. The dish was introduced by the owner Tom himself and it tasted divine. So fresh and smooth. The fried oysters added a beautiful crunch.

Every course delivered something special and new for our taste buds which just kept tingling.

The sweets started off with a lovely sorbet which prepared us for four desserts! I'm struggling to choose a favourite as my sweet tooth is definitely increasing with age 😅

Tom also introduced one of the desserts at our table, the Manchester honey ice cream, made with Didsbury honey!
Getting a fist bump from him was the icing on the cake 👊🏼😁

I've visited a few Michelin star restaurants over the last few years and this one was very special. The food was outstanding but there's something about it being local and led by a very down to earth and friendly guy from up the road in Cumbria.
The staff didn't stop smiling and watching them clean up at the end (in what felt like record time!) as a team ready to go again tomorrow was amazing.

I'm not sure what is needed for a second star but Skof definitely deserve another one in my humble opinion 🌟🌟 👏🏼
