It was really lovely to be serving ramen again this last weekend ! Was nice to see some familiar faces and some new ones who managed to try the Tantanmen for the first time 🍜

We've decided to keep going for the next two weeks (it would have been rude not to!) serving the good stuff with ✨

Make sure you give them a follow for updates on noodles and new interesting plant-based menus beyond that 🌱

This week I have given myself very little time to pull together a 100% British Shio ramen. The timings not great with all these celebrations... I'm patriotic to the planet maybe! 🌍

I guess it could be a statement or a , but it's more of an experiment in the name of sustainability. It's not easy for a small business to rely on British produce. It's not easy to make a ramen without the import of amazing ingredients from across the globe. But I wanted to try something fun and ambitious for our last weekend at the club! 🍜

Maybe it will make you wonder how you could incorporate local ingredients into your life too?? 🤠

Hiya! I'm here to tell you that Rainy City is gunna be taking a summer break and passing on the Feel Good reigns to another amazing plant-based kitchen very soon... ✌️

I'll keep it brief here, but this is your penultimate weekend to come and dine with us! So this is your warning!!! It's now or never (or until maybe autumn time) 🍜

Pictured here is the Ponzu (Sweet Shop) Shoyu that will be returning this week cause it's my favourite ever dish I've ever made??? 🍬

I had a little raid of the fresh veg market this week and the menu is looking a little fruity... We got rhubarb (no custard), pear (not drops) and (not particularly sour) apple 🍬

I could barely muster the motivation to prep anything last week, but this week we're embracing the sweet shop theme. That's just how it adhBE sometimes... 🤔

We're closed Thursday, but open Friday + Saturday for your noodle fix at the usual time of 5pm 💥

We had last weekend off, so I used the time to whip up a 7 course meal just for fun!! (for my partner and their mother) ✨

Okayu, yakitori, sushi, potato salad, mushroom ponzu, tantan tsukemen + miso apple gyoza 💥

We're back at the club this Thursday and Saturday, see you there 🍜

After service concludes this Saturday, the travels of one Maxwell Cricket will commence... The kimchi juice fuelled 150cc engine that's driven Rainy City since the start is finally following his heart to get some much needed time away and probably a lot of tagine! 🏎️💨

I'll be taking the opportunity to have a mini break myself next week, but then we're coming back to the club to keep serving you the best food we can dream up x

It's a scientific fact that 5pm is the optimum time to relax into a lovely bowl of ramen after a lovely afternoon in the sun 🌞

We're going a bit fancy with the menu this week and we're v excited to see what you think! We'd also love to hear your suggestions for any dishes you'd like to see to compliment the weather as it gets warmer!! 🌡️
