Unfortunately, we have made the decision not to reopen the doors at Mexicali. It’s been an interesting journey, and we are really proud of the brand/product we created.
The industry is already challenging enough due to rising costs constantly, but being forced to close for 3 months, which includes the busiest period of the year, has really had an impact in our motivation to keep things going. As glad as we are that we took this journey, we are also looking forwards to being able to focus more of our energy on our other ventures.
Mexicali offered a unique dining / drinking experience to the village we all love, and we want to thank everyone for their support of it thus far. We will miss it, and I am sure many others will also - especially the bottomless brunch 😢
As many have speculated already, the Edison pop up will be housed where Mexicali is currently, and I’d encourage to go to their socials for any updates.
