Based in the University area of Manchester for 50 years, we consider ourselves to be something of a Manchester institution. In our Health-food shop, you will find the largest selection veggie, vegan, organic and Fairtrade food in the North-west. We also sell a broad range of nutritional and herbal supplements, cruelty free, natural and organic cosmetics, eco-friendly cleaning products, vegan and vegetarian alcohol and so much more. Our basement cafe creates fresh, wholesome and exciting vegetarian meals and vegan meals, perfect for a hearty, healthy eating or pop in for an afternoon pick-me-up of fairly traded and organic coffee and locally made vegan cake. In addition, we host and run events and offer space for local groups to meet.

🚨 STAFF PICKS OF THE WEEK 🚨

Cal Valls 💥GAZPACHO💥

I'd heard some rumours on the aisles that the Cal Valls gazpacho was quite something... I had to try it myself to see what all the fuss was about, after all just how good can cold soup be? How good can it be?!

As I got home I cracked it open, poured some into a mug (wasn't sure whether to use a bowl or a mug) I took a sip and the deep flavour honestly blew my socks off, all my problems went away , I now feel closer to knowing the meaning of life.

Come and grab some in our shop, at £3.70 a bottle everyone must experience it. Although maybe don't come, as I want it all to myself.

FungALL are a local independent business who grow mushrooms in farms around Manchester, they do a lot of community work shops and have today supplied us some of their fabulous mushrooms!!!

This may come with some difficult moments but its the way we have chosen to operate since we formed in 1970!! AND WE LOVE IT ❤️
