Snoring Bear Mead

Snoring Bear Mead Homebrew mead, beer, cider, wine, and other wacky fermentables I can find. Purveyor of fine honeyed alcohol since some point in the future.

Snoring Bear Mead is what happens when two friends have that conversation ("we should totally buy a pub") but then realise that it's far too much like hard work and expense and decide to brew something instead. We are currently unable to legally sell our product, but we hope you'll join us in the journey as we strive to do so. The hangover's gonna be worth it. The glorious bank holiday weather gave me a kick up the bum to make a nice light summer beer.

Planning on brewing a double batch of a tropical IPA on Sunday which means a monster prep and cleaning session beforehand!

Also thought it was about time to rack this year's Christmas mead and the other one I have going.

Had a big clean and kegging day on Saturday morning. 4 new kegs in the beer fridge. Just in time for a potential BBQ on the bank holiday weekend!

Sierra Nevada-esque pale ale - 6.2%
Dunkelweiss - 7.9%

Also tried some of the mead that's aging. One of them has gone very dry at ~0.994!
